PETALING JAYA (Oct 12): Gamuda Land Bhd began the handover process for the first phase of two of its new townships — Gamuda Gardens in Sungai Buloh and twentyfive.7 in Kota Kemuning — last weekend.
Gamuda Land CEO Ngan Chee Meng said: “We warmly welcome our new community to their new home which we are glad to say befits their new normal lifestyle. The feedback that we are receiving from our customers tell us that they highly anticipate the handover and can’t wait to move into their new homes especially after experiencing the movement control order (MCO). This assures us once again that with mindful town-making, a good township such as Gamuda Gardens and twentyfive.7 take into consideration people’s lifestyle beyond their home place.”
“[Today], when we [conducted the] handover, our parks are ready, placemaking and infrastructure are in place, essentials such as F&B and grocery are nearby. When people visit our towns, they will get a feel for the town’s personality and they will want to be a part of it,” said Ngan in a press release.
Lucent Residence in twentyfive.7, a 257-acre self-sustained township, was launched in 2017 comprising 181 units of superlink homes and 98 units of semi-detached homes. Lucent Residence is 80% taken up and is being handed over in phases and by appointment basis. The RM4.2 billion township is expected to be fully completed by 2030.
On the northern side of the Klang Valley, Gamuda Gardens will see the delivery of vacant possession for 562 units of two-storey terrace homes in Village Homes precinct, which has direct access to the waterfront village, clubhouse and a 50-acre pet-friendly central park. These homes were launched in 2017 and more than 83% has been taken up, with only limited units available. Gamuda Gardens is a 15-year development, planned with seven precincts and has a total gross development value of RM10 billion.
Both townships feature pet-friendly central parks where the community can gather and get to know their neighbours, lush landscaping, placemaking spaces, high-speed broadband, and proper access roads. While twentyfive.7 will have Quayside Mall, a lifestyle waterfront community mall that will open in December this year, Gamuda Gardens features a waterfront village where the neighbourhood’s conveniences are located.
Gamuda Land COO Aw Sei Cheh said: “We understand that handover is probably the most crucial process of our customers’ property ownership journey with us as it is the first time they will be seeing their dream home after months of anticipation. We are glad to be able to keep to our promise and deliver vacant possession at this time when we can give our customers something exciting to look forward to.”
According to the developer, standard operating procedures will be administered closely throughout the entire process. Every customer is advised to pre-reserve their desired date through the Gamuda Land mobile app as limited slots are available each day to comply with physical distancing mandate.
