12 October, PETALING JAYA – Over the last weekend, Gamuda Land began handover process for its first phase respectively in two of its new townships – Gamuda Gardens in Sungai Buloh and twentyfive.7 in Kota Kemuning.

On the northern side of Klang Valley, Gamuda Gardens will see the delivery of vacant possession for 562 units of 2-storey terrace homes in Village Homes precinct, which has direct access to the waterfront village, clubhouse and a 50-acre pet-friendly central park. These homes were launched in 2017 and more than 83% has been sold to date with only limited units available.
Townships that befit new norm lifestyle
“We warmly welcome our new community to their new home which we are glad to say befits their new normal lifestyle. The feedback that we are receiving from our customers tell us that they highly anticipate the handover and can’t wait to move in to their new home especially after experiencing the movement control order (MCO). This assures us once again that with mindful town-making, a good town such as Gamuda Gardens and twentyfive.7 take into consideration people’s lifestyle beyond their home place. When we handover today, our parks are ready, placemaking and infrastructure are in place, essentials such as F&B and grocery are nearby. When people visit our towns, they will get a feel for the town’s personality and they will want to be a part of it,” said Ngan Chee Meng, Chief Executive Officer of Gamuda Land.
True to its promise of delivering more than just a home place for the community, facilities, conveniences and infrastructure are already in place prior to the handover. Both townships feature completed pet-friendly Central Park where the community can gather and get to know their neighbours; lush landscaping; placemaking spaces; high-speed broadband; and proper access road. While twentyfive.7 has Quayside Mall, a lifestyle waterfront community mall with unique concept that is opening in December 2020, Gamuda Gardens features a waterfront village where the neighbourhood’s conveniences are located.
With heightened sense of well-being due to the pandemic, homeowners at Gamuda Gardens will be enjoying clubhouse facilities at Gardens Wellness Club, overlooking the majestic waterfall and just a short stroll away from their home. The club is fitted with an Olympic-length swimming pool, well-equipped gym, 8 badminton courts, dance room and sauna. Right next to the wellness club is a neighbourhood waterplay park Big Bucket Splash where children can have some splashing fun.
Residents of Gamuda Gardens can easily walk to the 50-acre pet-friendly central park or enjoy the view from Waterfront Village.
Flexible home layout in a lush suburban setting
One change that the pandemic has brought upon is the appreciation for nature as well as a more generous living space. Besides having direct access to the central park, homes in Gamuda Gardens and twentyfive.7 feature practical layout, making it easier for residents to convert the home space according to their respective lifestyle.
Windows and skylight are strategically placed to maximise natural daylight and views of the outdoor greenery. Linear parks in both townships allow more access to green and open space within the precinct, improving overall well-being of the community.
Residents with pets will appreciate the pet-friendly spaces in both townships where their pets will have space to run around.
“We understand that handover is probably the most crucial process of our customers’ property ownership journey with us as it is the first time they will be seeing their dream home after months of anticipation. We are glad to be able to keep to our promise and deliver vacant possession at this time when we can give our customers something exciting to look forward to,” added Aw Sei Cheh, Chief Operating Officer of Gamuda Land.
What the residents have to say.
The first family to receive their keys to their new home in Gamuda Gardens is Sha’arin Razali Wong and Yasmin Hani who decided on Gamuda Gardens due to its location.
“As we lead hectic lives, especially with two young children, we were looking for a place where we can have a balance of serenity in our home but still being well-connected to the city. When we first came here, we were immediately sold by the natural beauty of Gamuda Gardens and to our surprise, it wasn’t too far from PJ! Our children especially love the central park and we appreciate that the masterplan of this township includes essentials such as commercials, school, clubhouse, retail, food,” said Yasmin Hani, adding that the she is looking forward to the home renovation so the family can move in soon.
At twentyfive.7 Chong Leong Hwee was the first resident to receive her keys to Lucent Residence. Chong shares that, “We chose twentyfive.7 out of the many developments around this area due to Gamuda Land’s good track record. What attracted us was the environment that we saw when we first visited this township. We like that our home feels serene with the lakes and parks yet our family also love to spend time at the mall so this place is great! We won’t have to drive around looking for a car park spot at the mall. We can just take a leisurely walk across the central park and will be there in a few minutes plus there are lots of trees here so we can enjoy a comfortable walk.”
Handover process in the new normal
SOPs will be administered closely throughout the entire process. Every customer is advised to pre-reserve their desired date through the Gamuda Land Mobile App as limited slots are available each day to comply with physical distancing mandate.
Manuals were prepared in advance and a dedicated relationship associate assigned for each customer to provide detailed information regarding their property.
