Gamuda Land has launched its year-end festive outlook to “Spread the Smile” – which focuses on reminding everyone that joy, love and care can be shared even during this difficult period where physical distancing is the norm.
This awareness campaign endeavours to bring a fresh breath of positivity by demonstrating how people can continue to connect emotionally and spread smiles with little touches of appreciation and generosity – which encapsulates the ever congenial Malaysian soul.
To illustrate this wonderful kinship, Gamuda Land’s latest social video shows people finding myriad means to connect, care and touch the lives of loved ones, whilst staying safe. It infuses hope that one can stay emotionally connected, receive support from those around and touch hearts, despite being physically distanced.
Yuen Chee Meng, General Manager of Corporate Branding & Communications at Gamuda Land said: “This ‘Spread the Smile’ awareness campaign is all about fostering hope and spreading cheers for the festive season.”
“While we may be accustomed to having big social gatherings with hugs and exchanging gifts with friends and family – something we’re all unable to do so this year – there’s still much to be thankful for as this pandemic takes place at a time when technological advances enable us to celebrate together in different ways.”
“With an optimistic outlook, we believe where there is a will, there’s always a way. With the right technology and infrastructure in place, we are still able to connect with our friends, family as well as our neighbours, albeit virtually.”
This groundswell initiative to spread smiles is being executed with the support of Huawei Malaysia – leveraging on the brand’s long-term vision to build a fully connected, intelligent world and showcasing various Huawei’s latest smart devices that enable people to easily stay connected wirelessly.
“In these unprecedented times, we remain committed to creating a better future, with innovative technology that delivers a positive and meaningful impact on the lives of consumers. In the future, we will continue working closely with our partners to bring the Seamless AI Life experience to consumers all around the world.” said Huawei Malaysia.
“Moving forward we are investing heavily into consumer electronics technology ranging from 5G to artificial intelligence (AI). When Gamuda Land approached us for this brand collaboration, we were instantly in agreement.”
“When they showed us their concept and master plan for the Gamuda Cove township, and how the team’s forward planning has incorporated 5G connectivity for its Gamuda Cove township from the onset of planning, we knew that our drive for innovation is aligned.”
Backed by more than 25 years of experience in town-making, Gamuda Land has mindfully incorporated virtual connectivity into Gamuda Cove’s masterplan right at the onset of planning. Being Malaysia’s first Maxis-enabled 5G township, all residents and visitors will be well-connected virtually and seamlessly within Gamuda Cove, a 1,500-acre township in Southern Klang Valley envisioned to be a nature sanctuary and smart city.
With emphasis on community living and shared wellbeing, this residential enclave is well positioned between two green lungs of Kuala Langat Forest Reserve & Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands – master-planned with lush greenery flowing from its surrounding natural environment into the neighbourhoods.
“Whether in the comfort of homes or simply basking anywhere within the expansive Gamuda Cove’s natural sanctuary, people can enjoy advantages of being surrounded by nature while enjoy great connectivity within a well-designed smart city such as Gamuda Cove which the infrastructure has been laid out right from the planning of the township to cater for usage in years to come.”
“With a glimmer of hope for a better and healthier 2021, the best gift we can give to our loved ones is to persevere through the next few months, continuing to care and show support for our family and friends.”
“We can all stay connected emotionally even as we maintain physical distancing, so we can remain healthy and safe. A little care goes a long way. So go on and spread some smiles today,” Yuen concluded.
