SEPANG: A water theme park boasting three features deemed world’s No. 1 would be the latest attraction at the new Gamuda Cove township in Dengkil, Selangor.
Gamuda Land chief operating officer Aw Sei Cheh said they would unveil the exciting new features in due time.
“We want to keep it a secret for now and unveil the exciting features later.”
“It will be a surprise!” he said, adding that the construction of the theme park would be completed by the end of next year.
Aw said this after presenting prizes to 28 winners of its “Through Your Lens” photography contest. The winners took home cash prizes of between RM250 and RM5,000.
The monthly contest, which runs from January to April, features a different theme every month, beginning with community, town-making, design innovation, and nature.
Open to both professional and amateur photographers, “Through Your Lens” is aimed at capturing Gamuda’s developments through the eyes of the public.
The Star’s chief photographer Ng Kok Leong is one of the judges.
For the February contest, Gamuda Land will reward photographers who best reflect its town-making concept blending nature sanctuary and smart city elements.
Participants are also welcome to take photographs at Gamuda’s award-winning Kota Permai Golf and Country Club in Kota Kemuning, Horizon Hills Golf and Country Club in Horizon Hill, Botanic Resort Club or Jade Hills Resort Club.
Gamuda Land Friends, who are its customers, stand a chance to win the grand prize, a HighPark Suites unit worth RM500,000 in Petaling Jaya in the final round.
Those who emerged winners under the monthly “most meaningful” picture category will qualify for the final round while top monthly winners from among the public stand a chance to win RM20,000 in the final round.
