Our sustainability efforts are reflected in the Gamuda Green Plan, which is a comprehensive framework that charts tangible targets driven on environmental, social and governance (ESG) dimensions set forth over the next five years, with an extended view to 2030 and beyond.
We craft towns with a human-centric approach that strengthens connections between the community and its spaces.
The environment is the extension of the home. Through differentiated and creative community spaces, we create experiences in our developments that connect people to friends, neighbours and places.
We create original and enduring environments that transform the town, carefully blending the lines between life, work and play. We also incorporate smart infrastructure in our development to nurture families and generations to come.
Even as we add more trees across our townships, we are mindful about how fragile nature is. This is why our Forest Park is so important for the community – it features our Gamuda Parks Wetlands Arboretum with different forest species, aquatic plants and park facilities to stimulate a Wetland Forest for both educational and recreational purposes.
The Paya Indah Discovery Wetlands has programmes that encourage people to get closer to nature. Alongside educating the community, this initiative also contributes to reduction of carbon emission. Fun activities for the entire family include a Jungle School, horse riding, fishing, animal feeding, a crocodile lake and many more.
Skyline Luge is a gravity-fuelled thrill ride using a three-wheeled cart designed and engineered in New Zealand. This ride is an exciting partnership between Queenstown-based leisure and entertainment group and Gamuda Land to develop the country’s first Luge Activity park in Gamuda Gardens. This upcoming attraction will comprise Skyline Luge, Skyline Skyride and Skyline Ziplines, to be built on a 40,000sqm site overlooking Gamuda Gardens, creating a community initiative that will benefit residents and surrounding communities.
The Gamuda Green Plan is our goal-oriented approach, consolidated into a comprehensive framework with well-defined carbon reduction targets.
