Culinary trail

Visitors hot on the culinary trail can take a break to rest, recharge and rehydrate at the mall’s numerous snack and beverage outlets, such as Tealive, Shihlin Taiwan Street Snacks and llao llao.

Meanwhile, coffee afficionados eager for a fix can indulge themselves at cafes like Union Artisan Coffee, Starbucks and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.

If that’s not enough to get your mouth-watering, selected eateries at Quayside Mall will also offer sumptuous promotional offers and discounts, for a limited time in celebration of its December opening. These include contemporary Balinese eatery Ole-Ole Bali, rustic-chic diner Uncle Don’s, industrial-themed restobar Nutz n Boltz, and Ying Ker Lou known for its Hakka cuisine.

Savvy epicureans can set their sights on Ole-Ole Bali’s Kambing Bubu, serving up stir-fried minced lamb with chilli. If that’s too spicy, sweet temptations like the grass jelly dessert with rambutan, drenched in lemongrass and ginger syrup, can help bring the heat down.

Wash it all down with an Ole-Ole Bali signature Jackfruit Mojito Mocktail, while enjoying a 10% discount in the first month of opening.

Get it while it’s hot

Not to be outdone, Uncle Don’s invites guests to dine like a don every day with hearty Western staples like its Chef’s Pizza, topped with a tantalising cream-based sauce. Fans of local fare aren’t left wanting either, with favourites such as the Portuguese Baked Fish, authentically prepared with eggplant, calamansi, crackers and rice.

For a taste of the Far East, Ying Ker Lou offers the rich flavours of Hakka comfort food. For festive occasions, the Hakka Penchai with scallops and sea cucumber is a must, while traditional treats like the steamed carrot and radish dumplings with dried shrimp cater for dim sum addicts. In conjunction with the mall’s launch, Ying Ker Lou is offering up to 1,000 cash vouchers worth RM18 for bills above RM100.

Rounding out Quayside Mall’s launch, twentyfive.7 residents and visitors can enjoy beverage promotion for just RM10 every day from noon to 8pm at Nutz n Boltz, Klang Valley’s snazziest new restobar. Known for its cocktails, the upscale eatery complements its drinks menu with delectable dishes such as the Sizzling Lamb Rack, marinated with Indian spices and served with stir-fried beans.
