QUAYSIDE Mall in twentyfive.7, Kota Kemuning attracted a sizeable crowd at its opening over the weekend.
Poised to be a new attraction for retail and leisure in Klang Valley’s southern growth corridor, developer Gamuda Land injected festive appeal in its launch with a host of activities.
Featuring seamlessly connected indoor and outdoor retail outlets across four storeys, Malaysia’s first organic vertical farming facility within a mall is found here besides spacious and airy layouts with natural lighting and ventilation.
The event was held with standard operating procedures in place.
Gamuda Land leasing, retail and malls director Herbie Tan said Quayside Mall’s design was optimally positioned in the changing retail landscape, favouring open spaces connected to nature and enhanced air quality as well as an emphasis on fresh tenant mixes.
“This highlights Gamuda Land’s forward-looking approach and mindful master planning across its developments in ensuring vibrancy and sustainability of the mall, township and surrounding communities amid changing retail and property landscapes in the new norm, ” he added.
An attraction here are the two larger-than-life flamingo statues that beckon visitors to the central atrium.
Quayside Mall has a waterfront food-and-beverage space with a panoramic view of the promenade, pet-friendly central park and aurora rhythms musical fountain.
“As a developer of townships and connected communities, we focus on bringing people together through the medium of places and spaces.
“We studied current retail trends favouring essential operators and eateries, and ensured that Quayside Mall addressed them as a curator of community spaces, ” said Tan.
He said a tenant mix of more than 25 food and beverage operators, as well as anchor tenants Jaya Grocer and Harvey Norman would cater to the everyday needs of residents and visitors.
“We took special care to craft areas and opportunities to foster experiential engagement for visitors throughout the mall, positioning it as a leisure hub for the township and surrounding communities, ” he said.
In the spirit of the season, Gamuda Land is offering gift redemption offers to shoppers.
